Three research groups involving scientists and technicians develop collaborative projects in the following areas:
- The Conservation and Restoration of Aquatic Ecosystems group works on freshwater fish populations and develops methods for managing their ecosystems
- The Fisheries and Aquatic Ecology group studies the evolution of marine ecosystems and their associated biological resources
- The Evolutionary Ecology of Systems Perturbed by Biological Invasions and Xenobiotics is a research team studying the evolution of populations and communities in environments disturbed by both biotic and abiotic stressors. Ecology of Biological Invasions
This new research group is the result of the merger of former research groups Ecology of Biological Invasions and Ecotoxicology and Quality of Aquatic Environments.
